Applications are invited by the respective engaging authorities as shown in the annexure ‘I’ against each post, from eligible candidates for the selection and engagement to the following posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks. The candidates fall within the age group between 18 and 40 years can apply respectively by 26.05.2021. There are 3 -5 years age relaxation for some categories like SC/ST & OBC. Names of the circle and official languages of each state and union territory under each circle are given in official job notification. Below are the main information regarding the posts:
EWS candidates will not get any age relaxation. The persons belonging to Economically Backward Class, who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs will get 10% reservation in engagement to the GDS posts in the Department of Posts as per Directorate instructions circulated vide no. 17-09/2019-GDS dated 26.02.2019.
