Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued an Important Notice to informed the candidates who gave the SSC Paper-II exam 2022 for post of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quality Surveying & Contracts) to submit their Option-cum-Preference for Post(s)/Organization(s) before declaration of final result. The preference will be submitted on the official website of SSC https://ssc.nic.in during the period from 04.05.2023 to 06.05.2023.

If any candidate wants to revise the Option-cum-Preference then that will be done during the aforesaid period only and we found that if a candidate has submitted a revised Option-cum-Preference then the last updated Preference will be considered as final. The submission of preference is mandatory for all candidates and if any candidate fails to submit it during the given time period then candidates’ name will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list/final selection. So, candidates who appeared in the Paper-II are mandatorily submit the Preference for consideration of their name in final merit list / result.

Allocation of the posts will be made based on candidates’ submission only. The SSC strictly reiterated in the notice that no further opportunity will be provided to submit Option-cum-Preference to the candidates after aforesaid period.
