Indra Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU, has opened the window for re-registration in next year/semester registration for the year 2021 through Samarth Portal at https://ignou.samarth.edu.in. All the students who are enrolled in the graduation or post-graduations courses in IGNOU can register for the next term programme via Samarth portal.

Whether the students have submitted their assignments or not or whether they had appeared in the term-end examination of the previous year all are eligible for the registration to the next term programme. University has taken this step keeping in mind the current situation of the Pandemic. The last date to fill the registration form is June 15, 2021.

A link is also given on the home page of the IGNOU website through which students can also reach the Samarth portal. When you click on the link you will get the form in which you have to fill your enrolment number to proceed further for the registration.

Apart from the Registration, the University has also extended the last date for the submission of the Projects/Field work Journals/Dissertations/Internship Reports. The last date for the submission of the Projects/ Field Work Journals/ Dissertations/ Internship Reports has been extended till May 31. It’s a great relief to the students who are going through the tough times due to the pandemic now they have got some extra time to prepare and submit their project reports and other reports as notified by the university.

A complete notification in reference to the submission of the project Reports/Field Work Journals/Dissertations/Internships Reports is available on the homepage of the IGNOU website http://ignou.ac.in/. Students can refer to the guidelines of the said notification for any clarification before proceeding to submit their project reports or any other reports as notified. But one thing is there that need to keep in mind that the notification has given a clear NOTE* to the students that the TEE Assignments/ Synopsis etc should not be uploaded on this portal. Hence, the students are requested to go through the complete guidelines given in the notification before submitting any project.
