Due to the sudden rise of Corona cases in Assam the government has closed all the education centres for next two weeks. The govt says that if the covid situation remains the same then they might have to postpone the board exams also.

All the exams in Guwahati University have also been deferred due to Covid situation. The VC of Guwahati University Prof. Ptatap Jyoti Handique is planning to conduct online exams but his only worry is that many students in Assam come from remote areas and many of them do not even have laptops and smartphone so whether the university should go for online exams or not that the only question before the VC of the Guwahati University. But the University is saying that it will give at least 20 days-notice prior to the examination.
