CBSE has launched the online portal for career counselling and guidance of class 10th and 12th students. Students of class 10th and 12th from all CBSE schools can sign up on the online portal by entering their details.

Central Board of secondary education, CBSE has launched the online portal for career counselling and guidance of class 10th & 12th students. Students who are interested in taking career counselling and guidance to enlarge their knowledge about the career options that they can pursue after 10th or 12th class can sign up on the portal launched by the CBSE.

The online portal will provide information about the careers, college directories, courses, scholarships, and competitive examination. If you are interested to know more about any particular college, course, scholarships or entrance examinations that you can apply after 12th then you must sign up and avail the benefits of the online portal launched by the CBSE.

Currently through individual career dashboard students can access:

  • 500 + careers (English, Hindi and 8 other languages)
  • 25,000 colleges and vocational institutes spanning over 3 lakh courses
  • 1200 Scholarships
  • 1150 Entrance Exams
  • The portal with the entire curriculum will be offered to students at no cost.

The CBSE career guidance and counselling portal:

  • Is gender inclusive
  • Informs career options for special ability students
  • Uses an interactive approach to engage with the students

The portal is also accessible to teachers and administrators. CBSE has also requested all the heads of the affiliated schools to recommend names of 2 Counsellors or Teachers preferably one teaching class IX-X and the other teaching class XI-XII.  These counsellors will be trained on the portal through a digital training session of 1 hour 30 minutes duration.
